Investing in Relationships

Students are invited to discover a real relationship Jesus at their own pace, with space for questions, doubts, and curiosity. Our leaders model this committing to long-term involvement in students’ lives, walking with them through seasons of growth, challenge, and celebration.

Pray

Prayer is the foundation of Young Life. We believe that God is already at work in the lives of every student long before we ever meet them. We commit to praying regularly and intentionally for students, for their families, schools, and our community. Convinced that we have no greater thing to offer than our prayer.

Go

Young Life goes where kids are. We believe meaningful ministry happens through presence, not programs alone.Just as Jesus left heaven to come to us, leaders intentionally enter the world of adolescents—showing up for them in their world. By building authentic, long-term relationships leaders earn the right to be heard. Going means meeting students as they are, walking alongside them through real life, and reflecting the love of Christ.

Invite

Young Life is built on invitation, not pressure. We invite students into genuine friendship, shared experiences, and environments where they can belong before they believe. Through club, camp, campaigners, and shared life, students are invited to engage the Gospel story and encounter Jesus. Our desire is that every young person would have the opportunity to respond freely to the same invitation Jesus makes in the scriptures "come and follow me" and experience the life, hope, and purpose found in Him.
